A FANTASTIC TRIP AROUND TENERIFE’S COASTLINE, TO LEARN ABOUT THE ISLAND’S HISTORICAL HERITAGE AND EXPERIENCE THE EVERY-DAY LIFE, CULTURE AND WARMTH OF ITS LOCALS.

A stunning tour, looping around the main towns and villages of Tenerife’s coastal areas and mid-altitude zones. It’s the best way to witness, in just one day, the contrast between the warm weather of the south and the cool, green hillsides of the north. Each stop has been selected to reveal the natural, historical, artistic and gastronomic heritage of the island.

We will explore Candelaria with its huge basilica, home to the Virgin of the same name, the island’s patron saint. Later, we will boost our health with a walk through Anaga’s laurel forest, a UNESCO biosphere reserve (suitable for all abilities). On our next stop we will stroll through the lively, historical streets of La Laguna, one of Tenerife’s main attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Between the valleys of the north lies the town of La Orotava, a place with a glamorous past and a beautiful old town, declared a Site of Historical and Artistic Interest. Just outside the town we will enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Teide and the valley lying below, considered to be one of the most spectacular views in the world. Finally we will visit Garachico, a town with a strong connection to the sea, with its beautiful and historic, colonial architecture that was frozen in time when buried by lava from the Trevejo volcano. Risen from the ashes it still maintains all of its charm.

• On this tour you will be able to sample the very best Canarian cuisine, made with local ingredients, in the greatest towns and villages of the north of the island.

• This tour lasts between 6 and 8 hours and runs all year-round. Hotel pick-up time is 10am.
